WIL-FM/St. Louis: The Second Annual ''Cornbread's Cardboard Classic'' -- which took place this past February 14 at Hidden Valley -- was a snowy success. More than 100 sledding teams competed for prizes in three categories: Best Designed Sled, Fastest Sled and Krazy Kids' Race. A large group of spectators and supporters braved the winter temps to cheer on their favorite team's race for glory.

Premiere Networks: Syndicated talk host Dave Ramsey made a guest appearance on ''The Bobby Bones Show'' at WSIX-FM in Nashville. After losing a bet on the Super Bowl, associate producer Ray lost his truck and is in the hole over $8000. Bobby had Dave on to counsel Ray and the entire crew on various topics including the terrible odds of gambling.

WestwoodOne: WestwoodOne Sports reporter Jim Gray sits down with Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning at NFL Media Day Tuesday morning at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Manning will play in his third Super Bowl on Sunday and first since signing with Denver two seasons ago.

He recently asked listeners to donate Lego's for the children, which he planned to take in suitcases on the trip. They expected a few boxes but instead were overwhelmed by listeners who wanted to participate.

WIL-FM/St. Louis: 92.3 WIL's Bo Matthews and Derrick Keith will once again hold its ''Take The Plunge'' on February 14 during the 11th Annual Polar Plunge. A minimum donation of $75 per plunger entitles people ages 10 and older to plunge into Lake St. Louise along with other goodies.

KYW-AM/Philadelphia: KYW Newsradio has awarded the Richard Monetti Scholarship to Avon Grove High School's Alicia Stearn, a recent newstudies graduate. The scholarship is named for Richard Monetti, a 1986 Newstudies graduate who was killed in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988. KFDI-FM/Wichita: Morning hosts Brian & Kellie's ''Christmas in a Box 2013'' campaign is delivering 801 holiday packages to the post office for delivery to Kansas troops deployed overseas through the holidays. That is an increase of approximately 300 boxes over last year's total.

WARH-FM/St. Louis: Just in time for Black Friday, 106.5 The Arch announced that the latest winner of $65,000 phase in ''Free Money'' promotion is Alneda Fisher of St. Louis. The Arch has awarded more than $200,000 in ''Free Money'' to listeners during 2013.

WAAF-FM/Boston: No morning show rivalry here. WAAF main morning guy Greg Hill and crosstown MIX 104.1's Kennedy Elsey joined forces for the Ellie Fund's 7th annual Pink Party at Circle Furniture in Framingham, MA. Elsey hosted the event while Hill was on hand to support his restaurant, 29 Sudbury.

Fox Sports Radio: Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman visited the FOX Sports Radio studios on Tuesday during ''Jay Mohr Sports,'' and talked about his upcoming Black Crowes tour and his new band Trigger Hippy. Gorman also participated in the first-ever Jay Mohr Sports Front Man Draft.

Talk Shows USA: ''The Money Pit Home Improvement Show'' and broadcast partner ''This Old House'' recently wrapped up their weekly specials entitled "Jersey Shore Rebuilds." The Money Pit was given exclusive behind-the-scenes access to bring the stories of these renovations, and the victims behind them. The band was disguised in fake beards. Cornbread didn't realize who they were until he took his hedge clippers and revealed their true identity.

Premiere Networks: Premiere Networks welcomed numerous stars to its official CMA Awards Radio Remote Broadcast leading up to ''The 47th Annual CMA Awards.''
