Cox Media Group/Houston: CMG's Houston office was filled with kids last week for the annual ''Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.'' 18 kids, ranging from 2 1/2 too 13 years old, came to work with their parents. He recently asked listeners to donate Lego's for the children, which he planned to take in suitcases on the trip. They expected a few boxes but instead were overwhelmed by listeners who wanted to participate.

WIL-FM/St. Louis: 92.3 WIL's Bo Matthews and Derrick Keith will once again hold its ''Take The Plunge'' on February 14 during the 11th Annual Polar Plunge. A minimum donation of $75 per plunger entitles people ages 10 and older to plunge into Lake St. Louise along with other goodies.

KYW-AM/Philadelphia: KYW Newsradio has awarded the Richard Monetti Scholarship to Avon Grove High School's Alicia Stearn, a recent newstudies graduate. The scholarship is named for Richard Monetti, a 1986 Newstudies graduate who was killed in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988.
