Due to a rights agreement with the Lions, the move was blocked, forcing them to think outside the box. They approached Tech Shop Detroit, whose facility borders the Lions practice field, and obtained permission to broadcast from the Tech Shop parking lot with a 50-foot scissors lift. WRPW-FM/Bloomington: Cities 92.9 FM morning host Ian Bayne releases a photo of his ''door to door'' effort to fight a recent gas tax hike. Listeners place signs in their yards to campaign a city initiative to fund a Flamingo museum while raising gas taxes.
