Broadcasters Foundation of America: The Broadcasters Foundation of America raised $250,000 at the 2014 Celebrity Golf Tournament, a record for the annual fundraiser that supports the Foundation's mission of providing aid to broadcasters in need. During the in-studio visit, McGraw talked about his tour and performing with his 12-year-old daughter Audrey, who he'd rather become a doctor than a singer. WMGC-FM/Detroit: Detroit Sports 105.1 had hoped to broadcast shows live from Detroit Lions Training Camp. Due to a rights agreement with the Lions, the move was blocked, forcing them to think outside the box. They approached Tech Shop Detroit, whose facility borders the Lions practice field, and obtained permission to broadcast from the Tech Shop parking lot with a 50-foot scissors lift.
