WTMJ/Milwaukee: WTMJ sponsored two ''Stars and Stripes Honor Flights'' from Milwaukee to Washington DC on Saturday, May 14 with a total of 140 Veterans on board. WTMJ afternoon host John Mercure led a ''WTMJ Cares'' fundraising project in October and the station's listeners donated over $250,000 to fund the flights.

KGLI-FM/Sioux City: Premiere Networks host Delilah spoke to a sold-out crowd of more than 1200 people at the 16th annual Women's Power Lunch presented by The United Way of Siouxland on April 27, at the Marina Center in South Sioux City, NE. WFBE-FM/Flint: NASH FM 95.1/Flint, MI, hosted a benefit on April 7 for Hurley Children's Hospital and Hurley Children's Clinic to help kids who have been exposed to lead from the city's water. Recording artist Granger Smith (pictured) volunteered his time to perform at the event that brought 850 listeners to the Dort Federal Event Center for a community ''eat & greet'' and acoustic performances from local artist Tegan Marie and Granger Smith that raised over $14,000.

The morning team talked to Steven Tyler about his upcoming country album, his time in Nashville and battling addiction. The audience was then treated to an impromptu jam session by the legend on a kiddie keyboard. The morning team plans on auctioning the toy off for charity.

WPEG-FM/Charlotte: Power 98 takes a turn and refocuses it's city through prayer. Sunday morning's inspirational host Cory ''Coco Brother'' Condrey asked a Hip-Hop Generation along with the City of Charlotte to stop for one day and pray. Thursday of last week, a packed house at Grady Cole Center showed up to do just that. Even the Mayor of the city showed up to pray with many other community leaders.

WARH-FM/St. Louis: Dealing with a bad breakup is tough. Especially after your NFL team moves to Los Angeles. ''Spencer's Neighborhood'' provided an outlet for spurned Rams fans to 'shed and shred' their 20 years worth of Rams merchandise and memorabilia. The 'shred fest' took place January 15 and TV cameras abound as former Rams fans vented their anger and delighted in disposing of their Rams merchandise in a very cathartic manner.
